Build Relationships

Network Marketing is not that difficult if you apply the concepts of Attraction Marketing and learn to build Relationships! Realize that this business model is all about people. Always has been and always will be.

Before I move on to my key point here, I want to clear up the definition of Attraction Marketing…

DEFINITION: Attraction marketing in a nutshell is the simple process of prospecting by sharing value with prospects long before you introduce them to your opportunity.

People are not going to join or even look at your Network Marketing business just because you posted your affiliate link on their Facebook wall.

In fact, they will probably never look at what you have to offer ever again… SPAMMER!!!

If you were offline or market your MLM offline now, you don’t go up to some stranger and pitch them on your opportunity, do you or would you??

How long do you think you would be in business?

Why do you think this is called “Network” Marketing?

You must learn that people join people… Not business opportunities!!!

So, the key here is to “lead with value.” By that, I mean offer something he or she is not being offered elsewhere.

Something with “Value”

An e-book, a Free Marketing Training Webinar training that will help them in their current business.

Have you ever been to Sam’s Club, or any grocery store for that matter, and been offered a free sample?

This is the same idea when it comes to Attraction Marketing.

Rather than just asking a customer to buy a specific product, they simply hand out samples. If the shopper likes it, he or she may buy it.

This is what I mean by “leading with Value”… Give your prospect something for free, inspire them, coach them, build that relationship with them and slowly and naturally they will ask about your Network Marketing business and will want to join you.

Here’s a great tip…. Offer them something that is “generic” in nature and relevant to ANY Network Marketing Opportunity. You will attract a wider audience…

“New School Marketing”

If you have been around the industry for awhile, I am sure that you have heard the term “New School Ways Of Marketing”

The truth is that many old school marketing techniques, such as cold calling prospects, using the 3 foot rule, and hosting opportunity meetings take to much time, effort and is not duplicatable.

You see, a small percentage (very small percentage) of Network Marketers are willing to do things like cold calling and talk to strangers at a mall or door to door, but most of the people those marketers sponsor into their business will not be willing or able to do what they do.

This is a sad fact about our industry, and accounts for most of the frustration and failure we see in multilevel marketing.

However, marketing online with the New School ways of Marketing. A prospect is more likely able to duplicate and learn the techniques used to build a relationship over time with prospects all over the world, instead of simply in their own “backyard”.

Stay focused, Consistent and Ignore the Rest!!

I have actually blogged about this before and is something that I stress to my team members… Stay Focused and Consistent!

I believe that their is a high percentage of marketers that really let this problem get in the way of their success.

Everyday their are opportunities being pushed on us marketers, everyday we are presented with the latest, greatest marketing tool (and yes you do need some of them to stay ahead of the online marketing trends) but, I see so many marketers that lose focus, come back to their focus, lose focus, come back to their focus, only to get overwhelmed and frustrated by not getting results.

It’s a vicious cycle and is responsible for the 97% of failing Network Marketers!
