As I continue to create my online legacy I think of all the 97% of marketers that are currently failing in the Home Based Business Industry.

Why??

Because not to long ago I was one of those failing marketers that simply didn’t know what I was doing. Simply trying everything under the sun to create “Instant Wealth”.

Now, as I am writing this post, I hope that I can inspire your greatness and hopefully coach you on MLM Sponsoring and what it means…

The meaning of a Sponsor is: A person or company that gives funds or assistance for a project or task performed to create happiness, wealth or knowledge.

MLM Sponsoring is all about Leaders, Not Numbers. Being an MLM Sponsor is not all about simply cashing in on someone and then leaving them to fail! It’s to help others to become successful, and also receiving the advantages of their success through your commissions.

A true MLM Sponsor is to give the support and training for everybody in your team to generate great results.

What this means is paying attention to who is on your team, the leaders that have that “Doer” factor and know what they want.

You want to focus on people who are prepared to follow your guidance and are hungry for success.

Plenty of MLMers start out basically trying to get anybody and everybody into their business. While they are occasionally successful for a short time, they don’t tend to be effective in the long run.

MLM Sponsoring Carried Out Wrong Will Destroy Your Business

The “trying to sell” and say the ideal thing to get people to join your MLM Or Network Marketing business will in reality damage you in the long run for two reasons:

1. You are going to be tempted to say what people want to hear!

Which means you might not be completely open about what it takes to become successful. You could begin telling people it’s simple and they will be a success overnight, when that’s normally NOT the case! People will be less likely to join, if it sounds too good to be true. And those that do join will have unrealistic expectations. So they might NOT like to do the work or spend the time it requires to build a solid business.

2. You will sound unsuccessful.

In case you sound super excited, or go into sales mode individuals smell desperation. This is when individuals start to wonder if you will in fact be able to help them. Even though they are excited about the business they are not likely to join with you if they believe you can’t help them.

Useful MLM Sponsoring

1. Be Straight Forward and Cut the B.S.!

You would like to work with people that will WORK HARD! You actually don’t want to end up with a team of individuals that do nothing and then sit around and also expect you to pull them along. The more dedicated your entire team is to reach success the faster it will happen.

You will only find these people through truthfulness. People that have a dream and are ready to work for it usually just don’t understand how to market. They will in fact appreciate someone who will say “It requires 1-2 hours every single day for 3 to 6 months to START to see positive results.”

A lot of people want to hear that it will be quick (and you should try to get your individuals making sales fast), but they have to have a realistic idea of how long a full time earnings will take to build up or they wont be ready to do the work.

2. Coach and Teach Individuals HOW to market

Your MLM Sponsoring will become simpler and easier if people can see what type of training or Marketing System you provide before they join you. Again if you stick to the “how” and are reasonable about what it will take you’ll attract individuals who are Willing To DO IT!
