If you have landed on my website and are reading this article it is probably because you are wondering what the heck Network Marketing is and how it can potentially change your financial future forever!

I know, I know a bit of hype there, but is it really possible??

That is the question most people ask themselves while searching for answers on how to make money from the comfort of their home…

Now before I get into detail on how I can guide you to some powerful information that totally changed my life over the last couple years, let me give you some history on what Network Marketing is.

Network Marketing started with an idea of selling different products and services where the “average” normal every day person could earn a commission for selling it.

Instead of having big corporations go out and market these products or services,  people would earn a commission and also earn from people they personally brought into the business.

However (a great idea), the first network marketing company was banned in the U.S.A.

The company challenged the ban and the model eventually got through the Senate by one vote.

Yes, by one vote!

Today the very same home-based business model is thriving. In fact it’s the fastest growing business model in the world.

And for good reasons…low start up costs, low overhead and the potential to earn thousands and millions of dollars… In fact, this year alone I am on track to do a quarter of a million dollars in my home business… Without a college education or spending thousands of dollars on marketing…

Here’s more Network Marketing knowledge…

The WFDSA (World Federation Of Direct Selling Associations 2007) estimates 77 million people worldwide are involved in network marketing either as customers or distributors.

Global sales are $113 billion and rising.

Over the past two decades, many high profile, successful business people have got involved.

As a result, it’s now taken much more seriously.

Here are some familiar names you might know :)

Warren Buffett, billionaire investor and US government adviser, is one of the richest men in the world. He has three network marketing businesses and says it’s one of the best things he’s ever done.

Richard Branson also has several network marketing businesses and uses the model alongside conventional business strategies in his Virgin empire. For example, he promotes managers and employees to directors of his new companies and he always promotes from within. The companies are independent but collectively Virgin is a huge business.

This is what ‘sponsors’ in network marketing companies do by helping new distributors in their team rise to the top, while at the same time distributors have a growing independent business.

So, you might be asking yourself how does Network Marketing work?

Well it’s very simple…
A lot of people each doing a little is the main principle of network marketing. Work less and make more..Way more!!

The business starts with yourself and it grows bigger as you bring more people into the business. You then train them and teach them how to share the business with others… They make money and you make money as well off of their efforts.

It is working “Smarter, NOT harder”

LEVERAGE

So let’s say you build a team of 100 people who each work an average of 30 hours a month in their business. That’s 3,000 hours per month contributing to building your business.

The people in your team are also earning money in their business and rising with you. That is called leveraging your time. If you work for an hourly rate i.e. exchange your time for money, you can only work 300-350 hours per month maximum on your own.

And you couldn’t do that for very long.

Their was a saying I once read (not sure who said it): “I would rather have 1% of 100 men’s efforts than 100% of just my own efforts.”

So how do you get started in Network Marketing??

Well, like I advise most people that first contact me…

I tell them you need to look out for a few things…

1.) Look for a Network Marketing Company or business opportunity you will be passionate about and could see yourself building and actually enjoying it

2.) Look for a sponsor that will be their for support and guidance

3.) Plan out a marketing strategy, whether you will build it online or offline…

It is said we should calculate what we spend every month and multiply it by nine to see how much we will need in the case of an emergency. Network marketing is great for providing that additional income and more!

Don’t let your business become all-consuming. Always make time to maintain your family relationships and other friendships. In the beginning, your business will require a lot of your time. Once you establish your business, you will be able to spend more time with your family.
